Craft Show Just Around The Corner

These last few weeks have been incredibly busy in our home, with two kids to take care of and a house and husband to keep after, I haven't had much time for anything else. I've been preparing for our up coming craft show in my "spare" time.

We'll be adding tarts and votives to our product line too. These will be available at our next show.



We did this show last year and had a blast! We'll have our full candle line in tow. If you're looking for a Summer or Holiday (Christmas) fragrance, we'll have plenty to choose from.

Well after looking at my pitiful blog this morning, I have decided that it is time for a HUGE makeover! We've got lots of projects going on!

Busy 2010

As most of my customers know we have taken most of 2010 off due to having a new addition to our family. I gave birth to Cole William June 2nd at 8:52pm Cole weighed 7lb 10oz and 21 inches long.

Cole will be three months old in a few days. He's growing so fast and I just want him to slow down, since he will be our last baby. With two kids to tend to I haven't had much time for candles. We'll be back full time next year for sure! As for this year we do have a few shows planned.


We are in the process of preparing for our first craft show that will be at The Festival of Leaves in Front Royal VA on October 9th! We've got some new products up our sleeves and can't wait to show them off!

Busy Summer!!

I know its been a long time since I've blogged!! I know sometimes I just get too busy and BAM I'm behind on blogging!! So tonight I'll make up for it!!

Lets start off with some exciting news!! My farmer's Market has been INCREDIBLE!!! Really I've been more than pleased with the demand of my lovely candles! For those of you that don't know I've been selling at my local farmers market two days a week since June! We've been going strong and enjoying getting to know and share our products with my local customers and friends.

I've had several people come by smell and fall in love with their favorite fragrance ( I currently have 45 to choose from.) I will be added several new holiday scents in the next two weeks too!

Next I finally bought a wax melter and am moving my candle making to the garage!! Yes THAT'S RIGHT I WILL HAVE MY OWN CANDLE LABORATORY!!!!! Said in True Dexter style!! Don't know what I'm talking about.... well Google it! You'll get a laugh :)

Also coming soon Earthworks Gallery will be carrying my candles. I'm in the process now of getting candles made to take to this really cool shop. If your in the Front Royal area go check out this awesome shop! Rob has a very unique selection of jewelry, art and Asian decor. Trust me you won't be disappointed in this store! Stop on by and visit my good friend Rob and tell him I sent ya!!

Last and certainly not least... Today I signed up for the 6th Annual Christkindlmarkt! What is that you might ask? Well its my towns Christmas Craft show held outside around the gazebo in beautiful Downtown Front Royal. The Event will start on Friday Dec. 4th 4-9pm and Saturday Dec. 5th 9am-6pm. Santa will be there too!!
